FreePoster Terms of Service
Effective October 30, 2026
These terms apply to your use of FreePoster, a free desktop app that publishes videos you choose to your own TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube accounts, and to this website. By using FreePoster you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use FreePoster.
What FreePoster does
FreePoster runs on your computer. You connect your own accounts, choose a video, write its caption and pick where it goes; FreePoster then uploads it through each platform's official API, now or at the time you schedule. How your information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Your responsibilities
- Only connect accounts you own or are authorized to manage, and only post content you have the rights to publish.
- You are responsible for everything you post, including captions, privacy settings and any commercial content disclosures, and for following each platform's own terms, community guidelines and branded-content policies, including TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Don't use FreePoster to post spam, mislead people, infringe others' rights, break the law, or get around a platform's limits or rules.
- If you connect an AI agent to FreePoster, you are responsible for what it posts on your behalf.
- Keep your computer, your FreePoster data folder and your developer app keys secure.
The platforms
TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube are run by other companies, which decide what they accept and may reject, remove, limit or change posts, permissions or their APIs at any time. FreePoster is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, and cannot guarantee that any post will be accepted, published on time, or stay up.
No warranty
FreePoster is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the FreePoster project and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, content, followers, revenue or profits, arising from your use of FreePoster or from anything posted with it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for FreePoster, which is zero.
Stopping
You can stop using FreePoster at any time: remove your accounts in the app, revoke its access in each platform's settings, and uninstall it. Access to FreePoster's sign-in page may be ended if it is being misused.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use FreePoster afterwards means you accept it.
